Original antique c. 1875–1895 white woven coverlet, jacquard-loom woven with raised floral and foliate motifs, a central medallion, and coordinated borders. The pattern is woven into the fabric, creating rich texture and visual depth.
The surface features scrolling foliage, stylized florals, and a geometric ground typical of late-19th-century coverlet production. Original selvage edges remain intact, confirming period manufacture.
Condition:
Fair to good antique condition. There are some wear-through and small holes present, primarily in some of the raised floral motifs around the central medallion and along portions of the outer edge. Light toning. No modern repairs noted.
This coverlet may be used decoratively on a bed, layered or draped, or displayed.
