WOW. What an Irish Chain. The scale of this antique pattern is wonderful — so large it gives it an almost modern visual effect. It's so special that this survived from the 1800s.
Pink and green pieced chains run across softly aged white blocks with tons of hand quilting throughout.
Condition
Good antique condition for its age.
A few scattered spots
Some wear along one border edge (shown in photos)
Slight fading in a few green squares where the dye has softened toward blue
All consistent with age and part of its authentic antique character.
